The existing deck was in good condition but was poorly designed and poorly built.
It was to be made more functional and built to last.
After discussing options we went with 5/4×6 clear cedar decking at a 45 degree angle, and 6×6 rail posts with a 2×6 top rail. The deck stain was a platinum colour, giving the deck a clean and unique look.
To add to the appearance we added decorative matching scaled-down railings on the flat roof portion above the deck.
